Representatives of the ‘OPEC +’ countries, which met yesterday (5), decided to increase oil production in May and control rising world oil prices.

According to the decision, it has been decided to increase daily oil production by 206,000 barrels. The ‘OPEC+’ alliance says that with the increase in their combined production, the amount of barrels produced per day will be able to increase to 33.7 million barrels.

This organization is an association made up of 10 countries and includes OPEC and non-OPEC (oil exporting countries).

Accordingly, the 8 countries in the association, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria and Oman, have agreed to increase oil production.
