Police have arrested three people on suspicion of aiding and abetting the shooting incident that took place near the Sirisara Uyana apartment complex in Sahaspura, Borella.
Police said they are aged 24, 25 and 40 and residents of Borella and Dematagoda.
A suspect who aided and abetted the shooting had been arrested by the police earlier. He is currently being questioned on a three-day remand order.
Five people were hospitalized after two people who came on a motorcycle opened fire on the night of the 7th. Two of them died while receiving treatment.
