Western Province Governor Hanif Yusuf has informed President Anura Kumara Dissanayake that he wants to resign from his post.
He said in a press release that he took this decision due to the extremely challenging situation that has arisen in balancing his responsibilities as the Governor of the Western Province, the tasks assigned to him as the Presidential Special Representative on Foreign Investment and family responsibilities.
